故居
友人归隐云山居，如今门外车马喧。
凭栏远眺花零落，昔日重檐片瓦稀。
华屋岿然朱颜改，奇石满园群芳艳。
纵使珍楼尽富丽，难还旧时几分闲。

我曾去探访友人偏远的居所，
宛如云中仙境的地方如今也变得车水马龙了。
我远远靠在屋外的栅栏处向里眺望，
曾经友人所栽种鲜花变得稀稀疏疏，
而友人故居的屋顶上也没剩下一片瓦片。
旧居的后方能看到高大巍然的新房正在喷上奢华的涂漆，
珍稀的盆栽奇石被安放在院落的各处
曾经幽静的住所而今只剩下些许残骸，
连同那些用心培育的花朵也在车轮下化作粉末被人遗忘。
可叹啊，即使用再多奢华繁多的饰品来雕琢
此地也依旧失去了过往的闲雅之意，
可友人已然不在我也只能苦笑着接受了这所旧居已被代替的事实。
Translation
Once I visited my friend’s old house,
a beautiful mountain surrounded by clouds.
However, when I got there,
it was crowded with people.
I moved closer and leaned on the fence
to find that only few of the flowers grown by my friend were still left,
The old building was being pulled down, and the tiles were all gone.
Behind the old house, a magnificent building had been built, and painted in brilliant colors,
Countless treasures and plants decorate the garden.
There is no denying the luxury their dwelling possessed
But still it is hard to give a peaceful life back.
